Life360 Emergency Contacts

Emergency Contacts are people outside of your Circle that you want notified when triggering an SOS or if a crash is detected. They must be set up for each Circle separately and are shared with all members of that Circle.

Add Emergency Contacts

1. In the Life360 app, tap Safety at the bottom of the screen.
2. Scroll down to and select Emergency Contacts.
3. Tap on Invite first contact.
4. Tap on Select From Contacts.
   • You can also select Add Manually, enter their first and last name and their phone number, and then tap Save at the top right corner.
5. Scroll down to and select the contact from your device contact list.
   • If you have multiple phone numbers saved for that person, choose the phone number to invite.
6. A text message will be created; tap Send.
7. The recipient must tap the link in the message and accept your invitation.

Repeat for each person you wish to add as an emergency contact.

Remove Emergency Contacts

1. In the Life360 app, tap on Safety at the bottom of the screen.
2. Scroll down to and select Emergency Contacts.
3. Tap the name of the person you wish to remove.
4. Tap on Delete at the bottom of the screen.

Repeat for each person you wish to remove. If you wish to remove Emergency Contacts from more than one Circle, you must do so in each Circle.
