Data Breach Alerts notify you if we find your family's stolen information in places where bad actors buy and sell stolen data. In the event of a data breach, we’ll provide steps to help you avoid identity theft and secure your family's exposed information.
To turn on and scan for Data Breach Alerts:
- Open your Life360 app.
- Tap on the Safety tab at the bottom.
- Tap on the toggle to turn Data Breach Alerts on.
- Tap on Continue.
- Select which members you want to receive Data Breach Alerts for.
- Tap on Got it.
- Tap on Start My First Scan.
- If any breaches are found, you can tap on one for more details. This includes what personal information was exposed and steps you can take to prevent identity theft.
