Places can be used anywhere in the world. For Place Alerts to work, the phone you are locating will need to be either an iPhone or Android device and have the Life360 app installed, with an internet connection, data plan, and location sharing turned on. Keeping Wi-Fi turned on will help improve location accuracy.
