If you have Tiles linked to your Life360 account, you can ring them directly in the Life360 app.
Important notes:
- All required permissions must be enabled to ring your Tile in the Life360 app.
- Your Tile device must be compatible.
- Your Life360 app must be on the most updated version.
Ring My Tile
To ring your Tile from the Life360 app, follow these steps:
- Open the Life360 app.
- Tap on the Tile you want to Ring.
- Tap on Find.
Note: If your Tile is lost, you can follow the steps to Find your Tile.
If the Tile rings from the Tile app but not the Life360 app:
- Check that your Life360 app is on the latest app version, if available.
- Refresh the Life360 app.
If the Tile does not ring on both the Tile app and the Life360 app, troubleshoot your Tile.
Required Permissions
To ring a Tile in the Life360 app, you must ensure the following permissions are enabled:
- Bluetooth must be On.
- Permission to locate Nearby Devices via Bluetooth must be set to ‘Allow’.
- Low Power Mode must be Off.
- Location must be set to ‘Allow’.
- Precise Location must be On.
Compatible Devices
- 2016 or newer Tiles
- 2018 or newer partner products.
- Shared Tiles from the Tile owner.
- Tiles shared with you by the Tile owner will only appear in your Life360 app if the Tile owner links their account to Life360.
Incompatible Devices
The following Tile and partner products will not work in the Life360 app:
- Lost and Found Labels
- Bose SoundSport Wireless
- Poly (Plantronics)
- Sennheiser
- Laptops
- Keysmart
- Nomad
- Bianca
- Early versions (2018-2019) of Skullcandy headsets: Venue, Vert, Sesh ANC, Push Ultra, Method ANC, Method active, Ink'd+ Active.
