Features and Specifications
Replaceable and Non-Replaceable Batteries
A Tile with a replaceable battery has a battery door that can be manually opened to change the battery. Replaceable batteries last up to a year and can be replaced with any compatible coin cell battery.
A Tile with a non-replaceable battery does not have a battery door. The battery is installed and sealed within the Tile and can not be accessed or changed. Built-in batteries last up to 3 years, depending on the Tile model.
Water-resistance
Water-resistance ratings come from International Protection Standards. Every Tile can withstand splashes and a 3ft/1m plunge into water for up to 30 minutes.
Note: Tiles are not meant for underwater use.
Lost and Found Tiles
The Pro, Mate, and Slim models have a QR code printed on the back that can be scanned when someone finds your lost Tile. When you enable the Notify When Found feature, you will be given the option to enter your contact information and coordinate the return of your Tile.
Temperature Range
Tiles operate best within the temperature range of 14°F to 140°F (-10°C to 60°C). Exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures could affect their performance.
Warranty
All Tile models come with our standard 1-year manufacturer’s warranty depending on location. Tile Premium and Premium Protect subscribers also get a worry-free warranty which includes defects or accidental damage.
