Sometimes your device sees a WiFi signal that is associated with the wrong address. This often happens after you move to a new address or the WiFi router was moved to a new location. It can take up to a few weeks for iOS and Android to learn the new location. We know this can be disruptive, and our engineers are working on a solution to this problem.
There is a third-party tool that may help fix this. The tool is not made by Life360, so, unfortunately, we cannot provide support or assistance with it. The tool is an international database of WiFi router locations. You can update the address of your router by using this tool. Here is the website if you would like to try it: https://www.skyhookwireless.com/submit-access-point
Hopefully, this will work for you. The other thing to keep in mind: if you do not use this tool, or if it does not work right away, your router's address will eventually update to the new location. However, we do not know how long that might take. These WiFi addresses are all part of Apple and Google router databases that we cannot control.
