Tile Lost and Found

The 2022 and 2024 Tile lineup (Pro, Mate, and Slim) have a QR code printed on the back that anyone can scan if they find your lost Tile to coordinate its return.

Note: Your contact details will only be visible if you have turned on the Notify When Found feature and entered your information.

Enter your contact information (Tile 2022 and 2024)

1. Open the Tile app.
2. Select the Tile that you want to locate.
3. Tap on the Notify When Found button.
   • Note: If your Tile is connecting to your device, you won't see the Notify When Found button. Follow these steps to find your Tile.
4. Tap on Next.
5. In the Add Contact Info page, enter the Phone Number and/or Email Address you can be contacted at and your message for the finder.
   • You can choose to skip this step if you do not want to enable Lost and Found.
6. Tap on Save.

Your contact information will no longer be visible once you turn off the Notify When Found feature.

Note: Tile 2020 and older models won’t have the option for you to add your contact information. 

Tile Lost and Found Labels

1. Open the Tile app.
2. Select the Tile that you want to locate.
3. Tap on “What happens now?”
4. In the Add Contact Info page, enter the Phone Number and/or Email Address you can be contacted at and your message for the finder.
5. You can choose to skip this step if you do not want to enable Lost and Found.
6. Tap on Save.

Labels are intended to provide contact information through the Tile app to anyone who finds your item; they do not provide location updates or notifications. More information can be found in, Tile Lost and Found Labels

Be Safe

Your safety is important, we recommend taking some precautions when meeting someone to retrieve your Tile.

• Insist on a public meeting place like a restaurant or police station.
• Avoid meeting in a secluded location or inviting strangers into your home.
• Tell a friend or family member where you are going.
• Take your cell phone along.
• Consider having a friend accompany you.
• Trust your instincts.
