Anyone in a Circle can sign up for a Life360 membership (including children if they have access to mobile purchases), and only the subscriber can cancel the membership.
Cancel Your Life360 Membership
- Open the Life360 app.
- No longer have the app? Cancel using the method you used to subscribe, in the Google Play Store, in the App Store, or on Life360.com.
- Tap on Settings in the upper left corner.
- Tap on Account.
- Tap on Cancel Membership.
- If you don’t see Cancel Membership, you can follow the steps to cancel on Life360.com.
- Review the benefits of the plan you want to cancel and tap on Cancel Membership.
- Select your reason for canceling and tap on Continue.
- Tap on Yes, Confirm Cancellation.
- The Life360 app redirects you to your Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Tap on your active Life360 subscription.
- Tap on Cancel Subscription. If you are still within your 7-day free trial, tap on Cancel Free Trial.
In the Google Play Store
- Tap to manage Google Play subscriptions on your Android phone or open your Google Play app.
- Tap on your Profile Icon on the top right. Ensure you are under the correct email address.
- Tap on Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap on Life360.
- Tap on Cancel Subscription. If you would like to pause your membership instead of canceling it, tap on Pause payments.
In the App Store
- Tap to manage your Apple subscriptions on your iPhone or open the App Store app.
- Tap on your name.
- Tap on Subscriptions.
- Tap on Life360.
- Tap on Cancel Subscription.
On Life360.com
- Log in to your account on Life360.com.
- Tap on Manage Membership.
- If you don’t see Manage Membership and you don’t have the option to cancel in the Life360 app, another Circle member may be the subscriber. Ask them to check their account and follow the steps to cancel.
- Tap on Cancel Subscription.
Note: We do not refund any unused time on a subscription, license, or subscription fees for any portion of the Service, content, or data associated with your account, or anything else. Upon canceling any Subscription Features, your subscription will be valid until your paid period is completed (Terms of Use, Section D).
Family Purchased Subscriptions
Any approved family member (including children) can start a membership if any of the following are true:
- They are a part of Family Payment (Google Play) and Purchase Sharing (App Store).
- They are signed into an App Store or Google Play account with a valid payment method.
- Their “Ask to Buy” for purchase approvals is turned off.
- Their App Store or Google Play account is a standard account, not a child account.
A membership is linked to the family member’s account that created it, so only that family member can view or cancel it. Ask them to check their account and follow the steps to cancel.
