Emoji Quick Notes & In-App Messaging

Quick Notes

Quick Notes are short emoji messages you can send to your Circle members with a tap. 

These are updated often to keep up with current trends or events. Previous trending emoji Quick Notes include ‘67’, ‘Bruh’, and support for Super Bowl teams.

To send a quick note:

1. Tap on a member’s icon on the map.
2. At the bottom of the map, scroll left or right through the emoji Quick Notes and tap on the one you want to send.

In-App Messaging

Life360’s in-app messaging feature has been replaced with call and text buttons that allow you to easily contact your Circle members directly using your device’s default messaging or phone app.

To contact a Circle member:

1. Tap on the member you want to reach.
2. To call the member:
   1. Tap on the phone icon next to their picture.
   2. Tap on Call.
3. To send the member a message:
   1. Tap on the message icon next to their picture.
   2. Select the messaging app you want to use.
