See a Circle Member's Location

To see a Circle member’s location:

• They must be logged into the Life360 app.
• Their phone’s location/GPS services must be turned on.
• Location sharing must be turned on in the Life360 app. 

If a Circle member has turned off location services in their phone settings, you will see a “Location permissions off” alert message. If they are logged out of the Life360 app, you will see a “Logged out of Life360” alert message.

To enable location sharing in the Life360 app:

1. Tap on the Circle Switcher at the top of the screen.
2. Select the Circle to share the location with.
3. Tap on Settings.
4. Tap on Location Sharing.
5. Tap on the toggle to turn location sharing On.

Note: It is not possible to prevent someone from turning off location sharing if they do not wish to be located. Life360 is an opt-in service.
