Change My Tile's Name, Photo, or Category

Make sure you have the latest version of the Tile app before completing the steps below.

Change Your Tile Name
 

iOS

1. Tap on the Tile you wish to edit.
2. Scroll down to and select More Options.
3. Tap on Name.
4. Tap on X to delete the current name. 
5. Enter the new name.
6. Tap on Save.

Android

1. Tap on the Tile you wish to edit.
2. Scroll down to and select More Options.
3. Tap on the current Tile Name.
4. Use the keyboard to erase the current Tile name.
5. Enter the new name.
6. Tap on the Left Arrow in the top left corner to save the changes.

Note: A name can only be used once. If a Tile is named “Keys,” you will not be able to name another Tile “Keys.” The system will automatically add a number extension, e.g., “Keys(1)”.

 

Change Your Tile Photo

1. Tap on the Tile you wish to edit.
2. Scroll down to and select More Options.
3. Tap on Change Photo. 
   • If you have Item Reimbursement, the app displays the message that changing the photo will change your Item Reimbursement registration photo. If you decide to keep the photo, select Keep Photo. No further steps are needed.
   • If you wish to proceed with the change, select Change Photo.
4. Follow the prompts.
5. Tap on the Left Arrow in the top left corner to save the changes.

Change Your Tile Category

1. Tap on the Tile you wish to edit.
2. Scroll down to and select More Options.
3. Tap on Category.
   • If you have Item Reimbursement, the app displays the message that changing the category will change your Item Reimbursement registration details. If you decide to keep the category, select Keep Category. No further steps are needed.
   • If you wish to proceed with the change, select Change Category.
4. Select the New Category.
5. Tap on the Left Arrow in the top left corner to save the changes.
