Routines

Routines let you set reminders and tasks for your pet’s care, such as walks, feeding, and medication. 

Create a Routine

1. Tap on your pet’s avatar on the Life360 map.
2. Tap on Routines at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see Routines, scroll left on the action buttons to find it.
3. Tap on Create routine reminder and select your Routine:
   • Feeding
   • Walking (Dog profiles only)
   • Litter box (Cat profiles only)
   • Medication
   • Something else
4. Select the time and frequency for the Routine.
5. Add notes for the reminder. (250 character limit, no emojis allowed)
6. Tap on Who to remind and select:
   • Everyone in the Circle (default)
   • Myself
   • Circle members
7. Confirm your Routine details and tap on Save routine reminder. Your routine will begin on the date and time you selected.

If your pet has more than one Routine, they will appear in the order they are due. If you tap on a notification for a Routine that is due later than others, that Routine will display first. You can disable push notifications for Routines in the Notification Center.

Complete a Routine

Completed Routines appear under your pet's location card and show the member who completed the Routine. The time shown on a completed Routine is when it is scheduled for, not when it was completed.

1. Tap on the Routine notification, or tap on the Routine card in your pet's focus mode.
2. Tap on Mark as Done.

Edit or Delete a Routine

1. Tap on your pet’s avatar on the Life360 map.
2. Tap on Routines at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see Routines, scroll left on the action buttons to find it.
3. Tap on the Routine you want to edit or delete.
4. To edit a Routine, tap on Edit Routine Reminder.
   1. Edit the necessary details and tap on Save Routine Reminder
5. To delete a Routine, tap on Delete Routine Reminder.
   1. Tap on Yes, delete it.
