Create an Account

1. Open or download the Life360 app on your smartphone.
2. Tap on Get Started.
3. Enter your phone number and tap on Continue. You must use a phone number that can receive verification SMS. 
   • Phone number log-in is only supported in the US, CA, the UK, NA, and KR. If you have WhatsApp, you can use your WhatsApp number instead of a phone number.
   • If you have entered your phone number correctly and the app states that it is already in use, you can claim your phone number and try again.
4. Enter the verification code sent to your phone and tap on Continue.
5. Enter your first and last name and tap on Continue.
6. Enter your email address and tap on Continue.
7. Enter your birthday and tap on Continue. 
   • Note: Minors will be asked to hand their phone over to their legal guardian for approval and provide a photo ID.
8. Tap on Continue.
9. If you have an invite code to join someone else’s Circle, enter the code and tap on Submit. If not, tap on Get Started.
10. Choose whether you would like to start by adding people to a Circle, adding a Tile or add a Pet GPS. If neither, tap on Skip in the top-right corner.

Note: Please keep your phone number and email address up to date and verified to prevent any login issues. If your phone number or email changes, update it in your account immediately.
