Jiobit for Pets Beta is a GPS Tile tracker designed to help you monitor your pet in the Life360 app, no matter where they wander. It offers peace of mind with real-time location tracking and is now available for order on Tile.com.
Note: Available to members in the US only. A Life360 Gold annual membership is required.
After you activate your Jiobit for Pets Beta, you can begin tracking your pet in the Life360 app. During the first weeks, your Jiobit will learn the signals of your Places and the cell towers in your area. While in this learning phase, the battery may drain more quickly and notifications can be delayed. You can support this learning by:
- Keeping Bluetooth turned On.
- Adding Places in your Life360 app.

- Real-time Tracking: The convenient combination of GPS, Cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth allows you to get real-time, step-by-step updates when your pet is on the move outside of a designated Place.
- Share with your Circle: Share your Pet’s location with multiple family members or pet sitters.
- Ring to Find: Play a sound on your device to find your pet.
- Movement Notifications: Set up a Place on the map so you’re alerted when your pet leaves or returns
Modes in the App
Power Saving
Your Jiobit for Pets Beta will enter Power Saving mode when:
- It is within a Place.
- It has been stationary for a period of time.
- It is connected to a device via Bluetooth.
- It has less than 5% battery.
On The Move
Your Jiobit for Pets Beta will show as On the Move when:
- It is actively moving outside of a Place.
- It is not connected to a device via Bluetooth.
Reserved
Your Jiobit for Pets Beta will enter Reserved mode when the device has less than 6% of the battery left. While in this mode, it can only be connected to via Bluetooth.
Places
A Place is an area you can define in the Life360 app that will send you notifications when your pet enters or leaves an area.
When your Jiobit is in a Place:
- It enters power-saving mode.
- Real-time tracking will be disabled.
Battery
The battery of your Jiobit for Pets Beta can last up to 10 days. To get the most out of the battery:
- Maintain a Bluetooth connection. While connected to Bluetooth, your Jiobit for Pets Beta will stay in Power Saving mode.
- Create Places in the Life360 app. While in a Place, your Jiobit for Pets Beta will stay in Power Saving mode.
- Ensure the Jiobit is attached correctly. Signal interference can cause your Jiobit for Pets Beta to search for a signal more often, which can drain the battery.
- Set up a Wi-Fi network.
