Escaped Pet Mode in the Life360 app helps you take immediate action to alert your Circle members when your pet escapes from home or is missing from a safe place. Once activated, the device LED begins blinking to improve your pet’s visibility and increase their chances of being found.
Note: Escaped Pet Mode is only available with a Pet GPS. Real-time tracking with Escaped Pet Mode is not available if the pet is within a Place.
Activate Escaped Pet Mode
- Tap on the paw print icon below the map.
- If you receive a notification that they’ve left a Place, tap on the notification.
- Select your pet.
- Tap on Escaped!
- Tap on Activate Help. An alert goes to all Circle members, and a Lost badge appears next to your pet’s picture in the pillar.
- Under “Need More Help?”, tap on Preview Community Alert to request help from other Life360 members in your neighborhood through the Pet Finder Network.
Deactivate Escaped Pet Mode
- Tap on your pet’s avatar on the Life360 map.
- Tap on Escaped! to the right of Escaped Pet Mode.
- Select the reason you want to deactivate Escaped Pet Mode:
- Pet was found
- False Alarm
- Could not find Pet
- Tap on Deactivate Help.
