Managing Tiles in the Life360 App

Share linked Tiles to additional Circles

1. Tap on the Circle Switcher at the top of the screen 
2. Select the Circle to which you want to add Tiles.
3. Tap on the keys icon at the bottom of the map.
4. Select Add an item.
5. Select Share your Tiles.

Repeat for each Circle you want to share Tiles with. Members in your Circle will be able to see Tiles on the map and under Items in the Life360 app. Once new Tiles are activated, they will automatically appear in Life360 for all Circle members.

Note: It may take up to 15 minutes for your Tiles to appear on your Life360 map. If you’re experiencing problems with Tiles showing in the Life360 app, check out these troubleshooting tips.

Find your Tile 

1. Tap on the keys icon at the bottom of the map.
2. Select the Tiled item you want to ring.
3. Tap on Find to ring your Tile.

Tile Button Press Actions

1. Tap on the keys icon at the bottom of the map.
2. Scroll down to and select the Tiled item you want to edit.
3. Next to Press Action, tap on the current press action.
4. Select your desired Press Action:
   1. Ring My Phone
   2. Send Discreet SOS Alert (2024 models only)
   3. Disable Press Action

Note: If you disable Ring My Phone in the Life360 app, you must also do so in the Tile app.

Edit Tile Name and Photo

1. Tap on the keys icon at the bottom of the map.
2. Scroll down to and select the Tiled item you want to edit.
3. Tap on Edit Name and Photo to open the Tile app.
4. Edit the Tile Name and Photo.

Unlink Your Tiles from your Life360 Circles

1. Tap on the Settings icon in the top left corner.
2. Tap on Shared Tiles.
3. Tap Unlink Tiles.
4. Select Unlink Tile Account to confirm.

Repeat for each Circle you want to disconnect.
