Scan Me if Found is a feature in the Life360 app for Tile users that helps reunite lost Tiles with their owners.
When a Tile is found and scanned, the Tile owner will receive an email with the Tile’s location and the notes provided by the finder.
Found Tile
If you find a lost Tile:
- Scan the QR code on the back with your phone’s camera.
- Tap on the toggle under Share Location to share its location with the Tile owner. If you deny or block access in your browser, go to your phone’s settings to allow it.
- Tap on Allow in the location permissions pop-up.
- Leave an optional note to provide more details about where the Tile was found or where you left it for the Tile owner to retrieve.
Note: Location sharing for the Scan Me If Found feature is one-time only. If you opt out of sharing the location, you can leave a note with details to help the Tile owner locate their lost Tile.
