If the Life360 app is not functioning as it should, you can refresh the app.
Android
Note: Do not uninstall the app.
- Open the Life360 app.
- Tap on Settings in the upper left corner.
- Tap on Log Out.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on Apps.
- Tap on Life360.
- Tap on Storage.
- Tap on Clear Cache.
- Tap on Clear Data.
- Power your phone off briefly and turn it back on.
- Open the Life360 app and log in.
- Note: After you log back in, it can take up to 15 minutes for your Tiles to appear on your Life360 map.
iOS
Note: Do not uninstall the app.
- Open the Life360 app.
- Tap on Settings in the upper left corner.
- Tap on Log Out.
- Open your Recently Used apps.
- If your phone has a home button, double tap the home button.
- If your phone does not have a home button, swipe up from the bottom to the middle of the screen and hold until all open app cards appear.
- Scroll left or right to find Life360 and swipe up to close it.
- Power your phone off briefly and turn it back on.
- Open the Life360 app and log in.
