After you activate your Pet GPS, you can set up a Place and connect it to WiFi.
Note: The Life360 app and Pet GPS only support 2.4GHz networks and will not appear on the available network list if connected to a 5GHz network. If you are unable to connect, check your router configuration and ensure it is set to split-band rather than dual-band mesh. (Satellite-based providers such as Starlink and HughesNet often default to a dual-band mesh network.) If you need help confirming this configuration, contact your internet service provider.
If your WiFi network is not showing on the network list or the connection to your wifi network has failed, confirm that:
- You have at least one Place set up on your Life360 app.
- Your Pet GPS is in range of the Place where the WiFi network is.
- The WiFi network is password-protected. Unsecured WiFi networks will not appear on the available network list.
- It is connecting to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. 5GHz networks will not appear on the available network list.
If you need to change or remove your current WiFi network, you can edit it through your Place settings.
