Once you activate your Pet GPS in the Life360 app, you can use the features available to keep your pet safe.
Find Your Pet GPS
If you need to locate your pet in a small area, you can ring the device. For extra visibility, such as at night, turn the LED on to make them easier to locate.
Note: When your Pet GPS is within Bluetooth range, the member who is bluetooth connected can ring the device or turn the LED on. When it is outside of Bluetooth range and connected via cellular, anyone in the Circle can perform these actions.
Ring your Pet GPS
- Tap on your pet’s avatar on the Life360 map.
- Tap on Ring at the bottom of the screen to ring your Pet GPS.
- To stop the ring, tap on Ring again in the app, or press the button on top of the device.
Turn on the Pet GPS LED
Press the button on the top of the Pet GPS to turn on the LED to improve visibility in hard-to-see locations or at night. You can also turn it on in the app:
- Tap on your pet’s avatar on the Life360 map.
- Tap on Light at the bottom of the screen to turn the LED on.
- To turn the LED off, tap on Light again in the app, or press the button on top of the Pet GPS.
Factory Reset Your Pet GPS
Factory resetting your Pet GPS will erase its data, remove it from all Circles, and restore it to factory settings. Reactivating it will result in a one-time activation fee. Before you factory reset your Pet GPS, confirm that:
- Your Pet GPS is nearby.
- Your Pet GPS has at least 10% battery.
- Your phone’s bluetooth is on.
To factory reset your Pet GPS:
- Tap on your pet’s avatar on the Life360 map.
- Tap on Settings at the bottom of the screen.
- If you don't see a Settings button, swipe left on the buttons list.
- Tap on Factory Reset at the bottom of the screen.
- Swipe left on the slider at the bottom of the screen to confirm deactivation.
Escaped Pet Mode
Activate Escaped Pet Mode if your pet goes missing.
Location History
View up to 30 days of your pet’s past movements in their Location History.
