Temporary Circles

Temporary Circles allow you to share your real-time location with others in the Life360 app for a set period. Unlike a standard Circle, Temporary Circles are designed for short-term use and location sharing stops automatically when the Circle expires.

Create a Temporary Circle

1. Open the Life360 app.
2. Tap on the + icon on the right of the main map.
3. Enter your Circle name.
4. Choose the duration for which you'd like to share locations.
   1. 1 day
   2. 3 days
   3. 5 days
   4. 1 week
   5. 2 weeks
5. Tap on Create a temporary Circle.
6. Share the invite link with the people you want to add to the Circle.

Once created, all members who accept the invite can see each other's location until the Circle expires. When a Temporary Circle expires, you will receive a notification with options to keep sharing or create a new Circle.

Join a Temporary Circle

1. Tap the invite link shared with you.
2. Download the Life360 app if you don't already have it.
3. Create an account or sign in.
